Armand Ghazanfar, PharmD, MBA
VytlOne PGY2 Specialty Pharmacy Administration and Leadership Resident, 2026-2027
Armand earned his PharmD from the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center Jerry H. Hodge School of Pharmacy and his MBA through the school’s dual-degree program. He completed his PGY1 residency at BSA Hospital in Amarillo. With a strong interest in specialty pharmacy and healthcare leadership, Armand will help advance high-quality, patient-centered care across our multi-state specialty pharmacy network.

Dr. Mansfield earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center Jerry H. Hodge School of Pharmacy in Abilene, Texas, and completed her PGY1 residency at the Tuscaloosa VA Medical Center in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. She went on to complete a PGY2 residency in Specialty Pharmacy Administration and Leadership with VytlOne, where she now serves as Manager of Specialty Programs with VytlOne. Dr. Mansfield is passionate about advancing pharmacy practice through leadership and innovation and chose VytlOne’s PGY2 SPAL to dedicate a formal path to build upon those passions and felt VytlOne’s culture was second to none with likeminded, go-getting individuals excited to share their vast knowledge within the industry. During her free time, Jacee enjoys golfing, gardening, and playing pickleball.Â

Dr. Gates received her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. During her pursuit of higher education, she has been recognized with various awards for her academic excellence, volunteer service to community, and professional achievements. She completed her first-year pharmacy residency with Saint Francis Health System in Tulsa. Lillian chose VytlOne because of the various leadership opportunities, exceptional company culture, and the customizability offered by the HSPAL PGY2 program.Â

HIV Specialty Pharmacist & Associate Research Pharmacist, Whitman-Walker Health, a Maxor-managed pharmacy, Washington, DC
Venise De Etoulem completed her PGY-2 Specialty Pharmacy Administration and Leadership residency with VytlOne and continues to work with VytlOne-managed pharmacies in the Washington, DC area. Originally from West Africa, she holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and Chemistry from Trinity Washington University and a Doctorate in Pharmacy from the Texas Southern University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. She completed her PGY-1 at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Washington, DC, and has an extensive retail and hospital pharmacy background, as well as biomedical research. Her main interests are pharmacy leadership, medication safety, program management, and health analytics. Venise chose VytlOne because of the various paths the company is growing into and its culture of excellence, expertise, and innovation. She feels that VytlOne is the perfect place to challenge herself and grow outside of the traditional paths in pharmacy. Additionally, she likes the flexibility that the program allows (along with the support and guidance of her preceptors) in tailoring her learning experience to her interests. She enjoys teaching French to her toddler in her leisure time, reading, having dinner parties, visiting museums, and traveling.
Katherine Nicole Casias, PharmD

Prior Authorization Pharmacist, VytlOne, and Preceptor
A native of Canyon, Texas, Dr. Casias was the inaugural resident of the PGY-2 Specialty Pharmacy Administration and Leadership program at VytlOne. She earned her Doctorate in Pharmacy from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Pharmacy in 2019 and completed her PGY-1 Community-Based Pharmacy Residency with Baylor Health Enterprises at Baylor Scott & White in Temple, Texas. Her areas of interest are specialty pharmacy, program management, pain management, and ambulatory care. Describing herself as a jack-of-all-trades, Nicole chose VytlOne because of the unique opportunities offered by VytlOne’s PGY2 residency, allowing her to expand her knowledge into a new territory of pharmacy.
Nicole worked as a Clinical Pharmacist at the home infusion and specialty pharmacy at VytlOne in Amarillo, Texas after graduating from the program and joined the Thomas E. Creek Veterans Affairs Medical Center in October of 2021. In her role as Pharmacy Program Manager, Pain Management and Opioid/Prescription Monitoring Program at the Thomas E. Creek VA Medical Center, she supported Facility Pain Point of contacts and Clinical Leads in coordinating pain management, opioid safety, and prescription drug monitoring program (PDMP)-related initiatives and implementation of the Veterans Health Administration and the Joint Commission standards. In August of 2023, we were pleased to welcome Dr. Casias back to VytlOne where she currently works as Prior Authorization Pharmacist for our Pharmacy Benefit Management division, under the leadership of former preceptor, Melanie Spier.

Bonnie K. Dugie
Pharm.D, MBA, CSP, FTSHP
Bonnie Dugie is the Vice President of Pharmacy Accreditation Services at VytlOne and serves as the Residency Program Director. With a strong background in both clinical pharmacy and leadership, she has overseen the successful launch of more than 40 pharmacies across the country. Bonnie provides strategic oversight for accreditation efforts at VytlOne’s owned and managed sites, working closely with accrediting bodies, internal leaders, and healthcare partners. She holds a Doctor of Pharmacy from Texas Tech University and an MBA from West Texas A&M University. A Certified Specialty Pharmacist and ACHC Consultant, she is licensed in 19 states and recognized as a Fellow of the Texas Society of Health-System Pharmacists. Deeply committed to education, Bonnie serves on the Education Committee for the National Association of Specialty Pharmacy and leads as President of the TSHP Research and Education Foundation. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, white-water rafting, and exploring the outdoors.
Tim Slowey
RPh, BCSCP
Tim Slowey is the Vice President of Compliance at VytlOne. He oversees compliance and quality matters and has been with VytlOne since January 2022. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. Tim has specialized his 30-year pharmacy career in sterile compounding and holds a Board Certification in Compounded Sterile Preparations. Tim has managed pharmacy operations in hospital/health system, home infusion, ambulatory infusion, oncology, ambulatory surgery, and non-sterile compounding. Tim lives in Colorado with his wife and two teenage children. In his free time, he enjoys mountain biking, camping, and woodworking.
Ryan E. Ahern
MBA
Ryan Ahern has been with VytlOne for more than 15 years and is currently serving as the Vice President of Strategic Services. He is a graduate of the University of Dallas with a degree in Economics and an MBA in Financial Services with a specialization in Financial and Estate Planning. He is a Six-Sigma Certified Green Belt and has participated in Lean Management Systems Training education courses at Denver Health & Hospital Authority’s Organizational Development and Learning Center. With over 20 years of management experience, 15 of which he spent in pharmaceutical realm, he has supervised all aspects of VytlOne’s pharmaceutical supply chain, including drug purchases of nearly $1.2 billion annually, VytlOne’s correctional pharmacy division, as well as PickPoint, a pharmacy technology division specializing in automated pharmacy workflow solutions and prescription retrieval systems.  Ryan has extensive knowledge in 340B & Department of Defense (DoD) drug pricing programs, virtual and physical inventory management, inventory replenishment programs for both 340B & DoD, the requirements of the Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA), Federal Contracting, and has had a wide exposure to outpatient, correctional, and compounding pharmacy operations, distribution and management. Ryan’s recent past experience included fiscal and administrative oversight for Maxor’s west coast pharmacy operations with ownership over strategic planning, pharmacy build out and service implementation, talent recruitment, and regulatory compliance of over 20 different pharmacies, including large Health System Pharmacies.
Melanie Spier
Pharm.D
Melanie Spier is the Director of the Prior Authorization Department at VytlOne. Born and raised in West Texas, Melanie holds a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Bernard J. Dunn School of Pharmacy – Shenandoah University, in Winchester, Virginia. Melanie has an extensive background in retail pharmacy management, medication therapy management, HIV specialty pharmacy, and pharmacy benefit management. At VytlOne, Melanie has experience specializing in plan benefit design, clinical programs, prior authorization review, drug utilization review, clinical reporting, and clinical literature research. Melanie is passionate about the pharmacy profession and is committed to a lifetime of learning.Â
Thu Kim Nguyen
Pharm.D
Thu Nguyen is the Formulary Operations Manager at VytlOne. She is also a member of the Residency Advisory Committee. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of California Irvine, and a Doctorate of Pharmacy degree from California Northstate University College of Pharmacy. She has an extensive background in retail and managed care. Her professional interests include formulary management, drug information, pharmacy leadership, and program management. She is very passionate and active in student development. She has served as a preceptor and mentor for various pharmacy schools and PGY-1 and PGY-2 residents. She also enjoys volunteering and precepting at community outreach events. She enjoys traveling, playing with her dogs, rock climbing, hiking, snowboarding, and other outdoor activities.
Rebecca Tally
PharmD, MBA
Rebecca Tally is the Clinical Patient Management Program Manager for VytlOne. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. She also has an MBA with a concentration in Health Organization Management and Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry from Texas Tech University. With VytlOne, she has served as a clinical pharmacist for both specialty and home infusion. She has prior experience in retail pharmacy and nursing home consulting. Rebecca has previously served as preceptor for third year pharmacy students in retail pharmacy and currently with VytlOne for fourth year student elective rotations. In 2024 she was awarded Lubbock Adjunct Preceptor of the Year by Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. She lives near Lubbock, Texas and enjoys live music, travel, attending kids sport activities for her children, and getting involved with their local 4H.
Rachel Haseloff
PharmD, IgCP
Rachel Haseloff is new to VytlOne as a clinical pharmacist but has been an active practicing pharmacist for the last eighteen years. Prior to joining the prior authorization team, she was employed in the fields of retail and home infusion pharmacy with in-depth experience in sterile and non-sterile compounding. She received her Doctor of Pharmacy from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Pharmacy. Rachel lives in Amarillo, Texas and enjoys playing tennis, cooking, and taxiing her four children to all their activities. Â
Wendy Richow
PharmD, BCIDP
Dr. Wendy Richow, PharmD, BCIDP, is a clinical pharmacist with extensive experience in infectious diseases, critical care, antimicrobial stewardship, and pharmacy leadership. She currently serves as a Clinical Prior Authorization Pharmacist at VytlOne, where she has worked since February 2024. Prior to this role, she held clinical specialist and pharmacy leadership positions in both adult and pediatric acute care settings, with a strong focus on antimicrobial stewardship program development, clinical program enhancement and clinical education.
Dr. Richow is board certified in infectious diseases pharmacy and has extensive experience mentoring pharmacy students and residents. She previously served as a PGY1 residency preceptor and has continued to support resident research and professional development through multiple quality improvement and research initiatives. Her recent preceptor-supported projects have focused on antimicrobial stewardship, critical care outcomes, and anticoagulation management, including presentations at ASHP Midyear and the Alcalde Southwest Leadership Conference. She is also a published author, including co-authorship on the article, Impact of Time in Therapeutic Range on Adverse Events in Atrial Fibrillation Patients in an Ambulatory Care Setting.Â
Dr. Richow is passionate about developing confident, clinically strong pharmacists through practical teaching, evidence-based medicine, interdisciplinary collaboration, and supportive mentorship.
Yazan S. Batarseh
PharmD, PhD, BCPS, TTS
Yazan S. Batarseh serves as the Pharmacy Clinical Manager at VytlOne–Holyoke Medical Center. He brings a multidisciplinary perspective that integrates clinical pharmacy practice, research, and leadership to advance patient care, optimize pharmacy operations, and promote interprofessional education.
Yazan earned his Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Jordan and a PhD in Pharmacotherapy from the University of Louisiana at Monroe. He subsequently completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University. Prior to his current role, he served as Assistant Director of Pharmacy, where he led clinical pharmacy services and participated in the leadership of a PGY1 residency program. He also held an academic appointment as Assistant Professor of Clinical Pharmacy, contributing to both didactic education and clinical pharmacy program development.
A strong advocate for pharmacy education and global collaboration, Yazan designed and piloted an advanced hospital pharmacy experiential training program in partnership with the ACPE International Committee, aimed at enhancing students’ clinical readiness. He has also collaborated internationally with pharmacy associations and the International Pharmaceutical Federation to support the expansion of pharmacist-led services worldwide.
In his current leadership role, Yazan focuses on advancing clinical pharmacy services, leading multidisciplinary teams, and implementing strategic quality improvement initiatives. His research interests include the development and validation of clinical quality improvement tools, the integration of interprofessional education through interactive educational models, and the evolving role of artificial intelligence in healthcare and clinical decision-making. With a foundation spanning molecular science, clinical pharmacotherapy, and healthcare leadership, he is committed to mentoring future pharmacists and advancing innovative models of pharmacy practice.
Administrative Support
Leonor Figueroa
CPhT
Leonor Figueroa is a Pharmacy Implementation Support Specialist at VytlOne, and the Support Specialist for the PGY2 residency program. She has been working in the pharmacy field for 20 years, where she started as a pharmacy technician, evolving to a patient care coordinator and later transitioning into her current role. She has an extensive background in retail and specialty pharmacy, having worked in the areas of oncology, HIV/Hep C, infusion and more. At VytlOne, Leonor has gained experience in accreditation implementation process, supporting directly the Director of Implementation and Accreditation. She also monitors the adequate functioning of software programs used for specialty programs and assists with training residents during orientation. Leonor is passionate about the pharmacy field and patient care, and is committed to a lifetime of learning.Â
